Assembling an electric vehicle for children
Although they come with instructions, it's not always easy to assemble an electric vehicle. That's why today we're giving you our video tutorial on how to get the Mercedes AMG for kids up and running. Note that this tutorial can be applied to most children's electric vehicles.
First step: make sure you have all the parts you need: wheels, motors, nuts, cups, etc. You can see the full list in the instructions below:
Make sure that the vehicle is working by switching it on after connecting the connectors already present to the vehicle connector.
1 ) Assemble the wheels
Fit the first washer (only for front wheels), the wheel, then screw on the second washer and the nut. For the rear wheels, each of the two motors must be fitted first. Then connect the power supply to the motor connectors.
Note: If the car has 4 motors, the front and rear wheels all have a motor. If the car has 2 motors, only the rear wheels have motors. Then fit the wheel covers to each of the four wheels.
2 ) Installing the steering wheel
To install the steering wheel, plug its connector into the car connector. Then insert the steering wheel into the steering lever, align it with the hole and screw it down to secure it.
3 ) Front window and rear-view mirror assembly
Continue by inserting the window in the front of the car, pressing in the right place until you hear the "clip" or screw in depending on the model
Then insert the mirrors into the door window in the same way on both sides.
Note: This also applies to the door windows if they are not fitted.
4 ) Assembling the seat
After checking the connections (see diagram above), clip the seat into the notches in the car, using the screw to tighten the rear of the car and the seat.
5 ) Initialising and testing the vehicle
Add two AAA batteries to your remote control by unscrewing and screwing back the cover.
Initialise the remote control with the car by pressing the initialisation button (here the M on the left) with the car switched on.
Don't hesitate to test the front and rear headlights and finally check the front and rear traction.
That's all for this tutorial. If you have any problems, we'll be happy to help you by email, chat or phone.
